After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Music Education Bob served in the public-school sector as an elementary and high school instrumental music educator. He later helped establish a Christian school where he served first as a teacher and then for nine years as principal of the school.  Bob trained for ministry at Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, (now Phoenix Seminary) in Phoenix, Arizona.  Upon graduation with an M.Div. he was called to serve as senior pastor at Church of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, a position he held for 25 years.  Bob has enjoyed training up future pastors and missionaries and particularly relishes the continuing mentoring relationships he enjoys with many he has trained for ministry.
