Arlene (Arli) currently serves as the Ministry Communications Director at Castro Valley First Baptist Church located in the San Francisco Bay area. She graduated from the University of California Davis with a BS in Design and a minor in Rhetoric/Communications. She was on staff 10+ years with AACF/JEMS – Asian American Christian Fellowship/Japanese Evangelical Missionary Society, as a campus minister, regional director, and staff/student leadership training developer. She has also served as a children’s ministry assistant, a creative design director in the local church, and was an art teacher in a local Christian school.

Arli attributes her passion for global missions from growing up in a military family. She serves on the mission team at CV First has been on short term mission trips to Mexico, India, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
