John Wodetzki, Board Member
John Wodetzki brings over two decades of pastoral leadership and nonprofit service to his role. With a deep commitment to community transformation, John has served as Senior Pastor in congregations in California and Ohio, leading strategic growth, crisis response, and outreach initiatives that have impacted many lives.
Currently serving at Castro Valley First Baptist Church, John has championed a shared leadership model, bolstered ministries, and guided the church through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic with resilience and unity. His previous roles include leading Faith Fellowship Church and Twin Lakes Community Church, where he oversaw organizational restructuring, launched large-scale community events, and managed a federal food distribution program.
John’s background also includes service as a volunteer chaplain with the Colorado Springs Police Department and as a staff member with MTM, a nonprofit mission organization focused on cross-cultural outreach to Muslims. He holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Safety Management from the University of Central Missouri.
As a board member, John offers strategic insight, a heart for service, and a passion for equipping ministries to thrive in their mission. His leadership is marked by integrity, compassion, and dedication to building strong, faith-centered communities.
