Pastoral and Staff Transitions

We provide customized training, coaching, and consulting to assist ministry leaders in fulfilling God’s unique calling for their church or mission. We realize that the time between the departure of a pastor and the arrival of Pastor Next can present some of the greatest challenges to a church and its leadership. We consult, coach, and resource churches in the selection of a transitional pastor.

1. What is our current level of health as a church as we enter this crucial time? Do we need a careful assessment of the state of our ministry?
2. What process and specific steps would best ensure a successful pastoral transition?
3. Should we seek help from an experienced consultant, or advisor, to walk with us through the process of preparing for pastor next, and specifically, to help us find Pastor Next?
4. If the previous pastorate ended in difficult circumstances, decline, or conflict, how do we recover? How would a transitional senior pastor lead us through a process of change after difficult times like these?
